Systems engineer by day. Painter by necessity. Every canvas begins with a feeling that has no words — and ends with a question only colour can ask.

About the artist
I am an Italian systems engineer specialising in railway and transit projects. I grew up surrounded by art — my parents took me to museums across Europe, and our walls were always filled with paintings and lithographs. Art was the air I breathed from the beginning.
By day — The Engineer
A world of precision, calculation, and control. But emotions don't follow blueprints. They accumulate quietly, unspoken and unresolved, until they find another way out.
By necessity — The Painter
Entirely self-taught. Every technique — layered acrylic, collage, glitter, bubble-wrap texturing, newspaper beneath the surface — was discovered through necessity, not instruction.
"Humans are complex beings comprised of a myriad of different selves. Painting is how I let mine breathe."
My work lives at the intersection of Neo-Expressionism and Pop Surrealism — fragmented figures, layered faces, imagined inner worlds. The tension between the engineer and the artist, structure and chaos, is not a contradiction I try to resolve. It is the engine of everything I make.
Proud dad of 3 children — their big emotions, simplicity, and imagination often guide my creativity. It is priceless to see their faces when a painting is finished, and to hear their interpretation.
Expressionist Portraits
Bold colours illuminate oversized faces, inviting you to explore the depths of the human psyche. Each canvas is a journey where reality blurs with the unexpressed — feelings that were never given words, never given space. Big faces tell stories of hidden truths and unspoken dreams.
Feel it. Don't explain it.

Fish — A Flow of Emotions
Countless unique fish moving together in a shared rhythm — a flow of emotions made visible. Each element is different, yet connected. Each holds its own colour, its own pattern, its own story — yet they all swim in the same current.
It's about belonging. About the beauty of being part of something larger while still holding your own identity.

Eyes multiply. Features split across planes. An honest portrait of the inner life — layered, contradictory, never quite one thing.
Acrylic, collage, glitter, newspaper, bubble-wrap texture, stencil — every technique discovered through necessity, not instruction.
Neon against neutrals. Warm against cool. Colour that demands a second look and rewards closer inspection.
Each title names a feeling. The strangeness is intentional and psychological — not decoration, but diagnosis.
Dots, stripes, geometric marks recalling mask-making traditions and folk art — decoration with ancestral memory.
The tension between the engineer's precision and the painter's freedom. Not a contradiction — the engine of everything.
A feeling, a face in the crowd, a memory that won't sit still. I catch it before it runs — quick notes, rough shapes.
Bold shapes on canvas — no tight planning, just live marks. The composition has to feel free and urgent.
Acrylics, collage, glitter, spray, marker. Everything welcome. Happy accidents stay. Colour loud, then refined.
Tiny dots of detail added last — that's when the painting smiles back at me and I know it's done.
